Privacy Policy

The short version: Park Moments has no account system, runs no analytics or advertising, and operates no server of its own. Everything you enter — your trips, checklists, notes, badges, and photos — stays stored locally on your device. We never see it.

Information We Don't Collect

Park Moments does not collect, store, or have access to any of the following:

Your name, email address, or any account credentials — there is no sign-in of any kind
Analytics, usage tracking, or advertising identifiers
Your photos, notes, or trip data — these never leave your device unless you choose to export or share them yourself
Your precise location history — see "Location Services" below

Information Stored On Your Device

Everything you do in Park Moments — the rides, shows, and food you check off, your must-do list, trip notes, badges, collections, trivia progress, and photo memories — is saved locally on your device only, using standard iOS on-device storage. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it. You can also erase everything yourself at any time from within the app.

Location Services

If you choose to use the "My location" feature on the must-do map, Park Moments asks iOS for permission to access your location while the app is in use. This is used only to show a dot on the in-app map — your location is never recorded, stored, or sent anywhere. You can deny or revoke this permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services without affecting any other part of the app.

Photos

When you attach a photo to a trip memory, Park Moments uses Apple's built-in photo picker, which lets you choose photos without granting the app broad access to your photo library. Selected photos are copied into the app's local, on-device storage and are never uploaded anywhere.

Third-Party Services

To power a few specific features, Park Moments makes standard, anonymous network requests (the same kind any website makes). None of them receive your name, account, or device identifier, because the app has none to send:

Live wait times — from ThemeParks.wiki, a free public API. Only the park and attraction being viewed is requested.
Weather forecasts — from Apple Weather (Apple's WeatherKit), using only the park's fixed map coordinates, not your location.
Map tiles — from MapTiler (map data © OpenStreetMap contributors), to display the must-do map.

These are standard, anonymous data requests — none of them receive your name, device identifier, or account information, because Park Moments has none to send.

In-App Purchases

Park Moments Pro is purchased through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. Your payment details are handled entirely by Apple — Park Moments never sees or stores your payment information. Apple's own privacy practices govern that transaction; see Apple's Privacy Policy for details.

Backup & Export

Park Moments lets you export your trip data to a file so you can back it up or move it to a new device. That file is created on your device and shared using iOS's own share sheet — where it goes (iCloud Drive, email, a computer, etc.) is entirely your choice. We have no access to it.

Children's Privacy

Park Moments does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information from anyone at all.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, an updated version will be posted at this same address with a new "Last updated" date.
